Project Description:

The proposed project would construct a new interchange at SR 178 and Morning Drive and widen SR 178 to four lanes for approximately 1.5 miles.

Project Status:

The Project Study Report has been completed and approved by Caltrans. Preliminary engineering and environmental studies are in progress. The draft environmental document has been completed and a public hearing has been scheduled for September 15 at Highland High School. Approval of the final environmental document is expected in early 2011. Construction is expected to begin in early 2013.
